5 Manor Road, Chatham
5 Manor Road is a busy Masonic Centre which was opened in 1905. Designed by George Bond a prolific local architect, in the ornate “English Renaissance” style popular during the Edwardian period. The exterior is of light bricks with Monk’s stone dressings. Tucked away as it is, the building is unknown to many residents of today’s Chatham.
Onsite are two large halls, a private dining room and two fully licensed bars available to hire for Masonic or Private events. These can be adapted to most uses, including weddings, christenings, funeral wakes, and family functions. A full range of catering options are available. |
